About bird dog heaven

This site has been created to post pictures of our dogs for new and prospective owners. Lockhard Bird Dog Training Center is owned and operated by Gary Stampfli. He has been training dogs since he got his first German Shorthaired Pointer at 10 years old. As a child, he hunted game birds with his Dad. He always found the most rewarding part of the hunt was sharing the dog's enthusiasm and natural instinct of finding birds. Gary loves training all pointers and retrievers. The dogs seem to think he is part of their pack. In addition to training dogs to hunt birds, he also breeds German Shorthaired Pointers. Miss Millie is the star bitch, with Miss Maudie close behind.
